Wake Forest to RDU airport transfer, reserved door to terminal

A Wake Forest to RDU airport transfer covers 21.8 miles by road from the Terminal 2 curb to Town Hall on South Taylor Street, about 35 minutes when the roads are clear. That puts the town in Zone 4, the longest drive of the eleven towns. You send the request, we check a Triangle car company for your date and hour, and you get back the fixed rate, the vehicle class and a pickup time.

Which roads connect Wake Forest and RDU

From the middle of town the car heads south on Dr. Calvin Jones Highway (NC 98) or picks up Capital Boulevard (US 1), depending on where you live. Some addresses reach the airport sooner by Falls of Neuse Road. Each line meets I-540, the Northern Wake Expressway, which curves west around north Raleigh toward the airport exit.

The fastest route carries no toll, so nothing extra appears on your quote for it. At rush hour the pressure points are the merges onto I-540 and the lights along Capital Boulevard. That is why a Zone 4 departure gets a 20 minute traffic allowance on top of the measured drive before your door time is set.
